Viewing and Editing Team Responses

When you create opportunities on your site, you can enable the option for volunteers to sign up as a team! Team signups can be a fun way to get more volunteer engagement with the opportunities you post on your site. Teams give volunteers the ability to select who they want to volunteer for an opportunity with—like friends, family, and even coworkers! As a site manager, you can review and edit team responses as necessary. In this article, we'll cover: 


How to view team responses

You can review team responses for opportunities by navigating to Volunteerism > Teams on your site manager panel: 

  • This page displays an overview of the teams registered on your site:


  • Click Team Responses for details about what opportunities the individual teams have responded to: 



  • From here, you can click on a Team Name from the table to open up a new window that displays: 
    • The opportunity they've responded to as a team
    • The individual team members and their contact information
    • The team leader


  • You can also make changes, email the team members, or copy important links from this area!  

How to edit team responses

There are a couple of ways you can edit the team responses from this area of your site. First, decide what you're trying to edit. You can delete the entire team response, add volunteer hours, edit team member responses, or remove team members. 

  • Do you need to delete a team response? Click the (X) under Options on the table from the Team Responses page: 

  • You can also edit the team responses by clicking on the : 

  • Here, you'll see the Options column where you can make edits: 

  • The hourglass icon lets you add hours:

 

  • The pencil icon lets you make edits to the individual team member responses:


  • The (X) lets you remove a team member: 


Note: Keep in mind that whoever you designate as a team leader has the same team editing capabilities as you do.
