ⓘ So you know: Volunteers on this list could be checked in to an opportunity a few different ways—including:

- A program facilitator checked them in
How to check volunteers out from an opportunity
If a volunteers used the Check-In Kiosk to check in for an opportunity, then they can also use it to check out. But sometimes volunteers forget to check out, or something came up and they had to leave an opportunity early. You can manually check those volunteers out as needed!
1. Go to Volunteerism > Hours.
2. Click the Checked In Now tab.
3. Under the Check-Out column, use the dropdown menu to select how you want to check the volunteer out.
4. Select the time and click Check Out when finished.
ⓘ So you know: Volunteers can also be checked out in the following ways:
- They can check themselves out the same way they checked in with the app or on the site
- They can check themselves out through the Check-In Kiosk
- A program facilitator can check them out manually
❖ Heads up! If a volunteer doesn't check out at the end of their shift, the system automatically checks them out at midnight on the day their shift is scheduled. If they left early, you'll want to manually check them out with a custom time for accurate hour reporting.
