Custom Registration Question Metrics Report - Small edit in how to download reports will make a HUGE difference for data

Hi there,

We use the Custom Registration Questions as a waiver for all of our volunteers (where they fill out various demographic info that we collect for various funding).

When I go to download the Custom Registration Question Metrics Report, then click the "detail" tab, it only lets me select one question at a time to download into a report.

Instead of a drop-down, could you please make this a checkbox, allowing us to check multiple questions? I'd like to be able to include multiple answers from these questions into one report, so I don't have to download 20+ different reports, and then try to integrate that into our master data. This would be supremely beneficial for us.

For context - instead of using a google form that would automatically populate into one sheet for volunteer demographic questions, we switched to custom metric questions so our volunteer user experience is more streamlined (and we get maximum functionality from your platform). But in order for them to integrate into manageable data, we need them to be able to also export onto one sheet.

We would really appreciate this minor fix!

Hello,

Thank you for this suggestion! The only other way to export these questions is from the main Volunteerism > Users page, although these will come through as part of a .CSV with all other profile information, and all custom question answers are included in a single cell per user (separated by the | symbol, and identified by the question ID number) which may not be as straightforward for your reporting either.

If you're interested, we can always make this into a custom report for you as well! Let me know if you'd like any information about that process and I can create a new ticket for us.

Either way, I agree that being able to export a full list of users on each row, and their responses to each custom registration question as its own column, would be very beneficial! I'll write that down in our meeting notes for future discussion.

Have a lovely weekend!
